We're down to 14 this morning with a wind chill of 1. Looks like our bonus for today will be the sun. First time I've got a good look at it in six days.

It's not the cold that gets to me as much as the snow. All the electric fences are shorted out, fence wire is being pulled off the insulators by the weight of the snow, gates won't open, plowing snow to get the hay out because the tractor would get stuck, the 12 inches of mud under the snow that's still mud because the snow is insulating it from freezing. As soon as my wife retires I'm freaking OUT of here to party with the snakes and gators!!!
