crossing cattle with buffalo

I'm interested in crossing bisson (buffalo) with cattle would like to here from people ,who have or who have crossed them to obtain beefalo. I relize that in the 1st cross cattle bull X bison cow the males are sterile . Also familiar do's and don'ts and the problems you encounter . PM me Buffalo bill

Thats how most Beefalo look nowadays. Not the nicest things to lay eyes on. :lol:

Theres a guy here that breeds and raises them for meat. Got no problem breeding those suckers probably has hundreds of head in the mountains on his land.

My dad has pictures from the National Western back in the late 60's of a beefalo, it looks just like a buffalo but has red roan shorthorn coloring! He looks like a strawberry icecream cone crossed with a goat, hehehe
