I weaned my calves over the weekend. This morning I had a heifer that looked really bloated. I drove her into the corral and was deciding if I wanted to try and hose her throat or haul to a vet. Then she went over the waterer and drank some water and was slobbering real bad. I was driving another heifer in during this time. When I went back to her this is what I found by the waterer with a bunch of slobber. I believe she got in down then was trying to bring it up like a cud and it lodged which made her bloat. Within 20 minutes her sides were back to normal and she was eating hay! B&G
