My dog is a Border Collie / Idaho Shag cross. Idaho Shags are a Airedale/ cow dog cross. There are a lot of opinions and discussions on which cow dog they crossed with the Airedale. But they do breed true wich is unusual or cross breeds. Mine looks like a Border Collie which is good because the Shags are pretty wooly and may take a lot of maintenance. I do like a cross bred dog better than a pure bred. They are friendly, tough, smart, well mannered dogs.
