I recently saw a Peanuts cartoon. All of the characters walked by Snoopy saying good morning, good dog, etc etc. The last Snoopy was laying on the dog house saying, "no one calls me Hot Lips".
Patty who is also known as Peppermint Patty, and Cow Patty is now also known as Hot Lips.

From the bad lands came the killer
He lived by the knife and the gun
He'd cut you just for standing
And shoot ya if ya tried to run
He was big as a tree and did as he pleased
And everything he did was bad
And they said if you was to kill him
It'd only make him mad
From the good lands came the cowgirl
Patti was her name
She was hot on the trail of that killer
On a moped she called Flame
'Cause the killer had killed her daddy
Just for spittin' in the road
And you only had to kill her daddy once
To get that gal PO'd

Yippee aye ay, Cow Patti
Yippee aye ay, Cow Patti

She rode into town
To find the man that killed her daddy
Yippee aye ay, Cow Patti

Killer hit town at daybreak
Ate the door off the local saloon
He started to drink
You could tell he was thinkin'
There'll be a showdown soon
Patti hit town in a cloud of dust
Ol' Flame was buzzin' like a saw
And the whole town got quiet as a church
When the killer stepped out for the draw

Forty shots rang out
Forty people fell
Patti and the killer missed each other
But they shot that town to hell
Yippee aye ay, Cow Patti
Yippee aye ay, Cow Patti

She rode into town
To find the man that killed her daddy
Yippee aye ay, Cow Patti
The killer took a step towards Patti
Said, "It's time I gunned you down"
But he slipped in something
That was layin' in the street
And was shot 'fore he hit the ground

Yes, the killer slipped and it cost him his life
And Patti said as she roared out of town
"You gotta watch your step
When you know the chips are down"
Yippee aye ay, Cow Patti
Yippee aye ay, Cow Patti
She rode into town
To find the man that killed her daddy
Yippee aye ay, Cow Patti
On, Flame!

When we named her Patty we said she would be Peppermint Patty when she is good and Cow Patty when she is bad. She is mostly good but every morning when we get in the feed truck to feed she wants to be Hot Lips. But I have seen the things she eats. I don't want any hot lip kisses from her.

In my early 20s I was working on a BLM fire crew in Rock Springs and a red heeler female showed up in the yard there. No collar or anything. She stayed around all week and no one claimed her, so I took her to the ranch on my next day off. I don't think she had ever seen a cow, but she had good instincts. We named her Cow Pattie and she was Dad's dog for a number of years. She was not very big and would ride on the motorbike right in front of me or Dad with her paws on the gas tank. Couldn't leave the yard without her. She and another of Dad's dogs chased some coyotes into the brush one day while he was feeding cows and she never made it out, but the other dog did. Never found her carcass, but Dad went on a coyote killing spree for the rest of the winter. She was probably the best cow dog we ever had and the only heeler we ever had that actually worked on voice commands.
