Is there any chance the calf was born early? His hair coat from the pictures looks short ,like a calf born 2to3 weeks early.

Haha thanks for all the replies its a possibility it could have been early I hadnt thought much about it and for clarification thats my wifes horse barn I just get to steal a stall every now and then haha
