One of my favorite cows that I just sold a 600lb steer off of this week was being followed and sniffed by the bull today . She would not stand to mount but he followed her the hour or so I was around today mid morning . Does this mean she is just possibly being bred back . We run the bull year around . She will be culled if this is the case

Limited experience here, but our gals are in heat a few days before they will stand. I've seen the bull stick with them a couple days trying and finally they stand for breeding.

Doesn't definitely mean she's open.
It doesn't take much of a discharge to get a bulls interest up.
I'd sure palpate her before sending her off.

:2cents: I'd check on them as much as possible. If he's still glued to her side 12-24 hours after your first observation, then that's when I would start to worry. Then get her checked ASAP.
