Birthday dinner

Since today is my hubby's birthday, I'm spoiling him with his kind of dinner. Big thick ribeye steak, unfortunately he likes it too done but I haven't been able to educate him in 31 years so I never will. Medium it is, barely pink inside, sigh. On the side we have mashed potatoes with sharp cheddar grated and melted on top, and garlic bread. Made my own garlic butter with 1 stick of butter and a whole head of roasted garlic mashed into it, plus a little Italian seasoning. So is that a manly man dinner or what? Meat, potatoes, and bread and not a pesky salad or vegetable in sight! And his sister made him a red velvet cake for dessert.

Don't worry about his long term health, I'll get some spinach down him tomorrow! retty:
