Hog prices here have bounced up a bit.
Current price is $26/cwt. for a 300# butcher hog.

Farmland pork plant in Monmouth,IL produces 3% of all the pork in the country. They were closed for 2wks reopened last Saturday. Sunday the employees were picketing out side the plant. Demanding safer working conditions.
Got a neighbor who owns and feeds a lot of hogs. Someone told me that he has 26 semi loads of butcher hogs ready and no plant to send them to.
