Well I made Angie's recipe tonight, BUT, I made a few changes to it..

Instead of KD I used fresh cracked pepper fettuccine.
I used fresh steamed broccoli instead of frozen peas.
Instead of canned tuna , boneless grilled chicken breast was used.
Substituted the canned mushroom soup for homemade Alfredo wine sauce.
Topped it with slices of oven roasted panini bread with an olive oil garlic wash, and then topped it with a few shavings of swiss cheese..Tossed in the oven for 30 minutes and it was ready to eat.

It was delicious, thanks for the idea Angie... :D

It was really good Jo ,I prepared it early this morning and then right before it was ready to bake I added the toasted bread and the swiss cheese.

Busy day here, AI'd some more cows and got pastures ready to move cows to as we are in mud hole with all that snow and rain ..I am very thankful for the moisture. :)

I used Angie's idea and just tweaked it, but if it was just me eating it, I most likely would have left it the way it was...minus the peas and the tuna, also the tater chips .. ;-)

Mr HD ,,well lets just say that he really is glad I like to cook for him ;especially since he has to eat out at lot of times.

Good rookie attempt hd! The recipe I use is somewhat complex ~ I am pleased you were able to modify and use it! Better luck next time.

Anybody else think that it looks like what the dog threw up?

Well kinda, the old black one horked up something like that after he ate a bunch of deer fat and than grazed on some grass for about an hour......

Gross Dun, we are in the cooking section here not 'Everything else'

Smoked haddock as a substitute would make this recipe a winner :p .

Alison, I was thinking clams would be a good substitute..Use linguini instead of the fettuccini . :)

Well Dun. Nikki sure liked it too, but she manged to keep it down.. ;-)
