Back when my sister turned 40 she became an old woman overnight. Being the understanding brother I am I of course gave her a ration over it. She asked my mother which birthday bothered her. Her reply was "The first one I'm not alive for". That pretty well shut my sister up but it took her 6 months to recover from turning 40.
