We have 6 lots in the Stars & Stripes Sale, May 4th, PA. Our cattle are not "clean" or fitted for the pictures for the sale catalog. We have to take the pictures in March and it is too cold and muddy to do anything about their cleanliness or hair coat. We were just winding down from our Jan/Feb calving, so no space in barn for them to be bedded down to clean up. Thought you would enjoy seeing our pictures. (If you haven't heard - I HATE PICTURE DAY!! - very stressful!). We got some great shots and videos.
Lot 65 - SV Gizi, 5 years old with a November 27 heifer calf on side (2nd picture). Gizi is a W/C BF Innocent Man, out of a Grandmaster cow - with a heifer calf born 11/27/23. Bred to W/C Bank On It, due 10/13/24.
Lot 65A - Heifer calf (SV Lynn Zi) sired by WC Bank On It. Halter broke and will be ready to show.
Lot 43 - Bred yearling heifer, SV Licorice, sired by Geff County O, granddaughter of our deceased donor CLO Sweet Sensation. Was shown last year.
Lot 2 - Bred yearling heifer, SV Love Bug, sired by MR SR 71 Right Now out of CDI Innovator.
Lot 22 - Sept heifer calf, SV Lenexa, sired by FELT Last Call, out of a WS Beef Maker cow. Green broke, should make a great show prospect.
Lot 57 - Bred 2 yr old cow/calf pair, SV Kissie, sired by FELT Last Call with a KBHR Sniper heifer calf on side.
Lot 61 - 3 year old cow/calf pair, SV Janga, sired by WC Loaded Up with a LLSF Redstone red heifer calf on side bred back same way.
