    Flatbed gooseneck trailer

In Texas, if it is strictly farm use and within 150 miles of your farm you do not need a CDL. You do have to follow all the other laws concerning commercial vehicles though(example overloading axles, lights, brakes ect.). The same goes for the military. Military personnel can drive tractor...

JD 535 round baler belt sequence

Starting from a side, it should be long belt, short belt, long, short, short, long, short and long. The short belts bypass the lower roller up front.

I use Stanadyne, mainly for pump lubrication with the ULSD you get today.

    What to run pto on?

Same here except I sometimes will slow the pto down and increase ground speed in small windrows with the baler. Running implements at 540 pto rpms when its not needed waste fuel and increases wear to me.

    What to run pto on?

If you tractor is equipped with a shifter that says 540/540E you can use the economy mode to obtain 540 pto rpms at 1700 engine rpms. This is great and saves fuel as long as the implement doesn't bog the engine down. It could damage the engine.

I forgot I had locked it out on a hilly place last year. Sometimes I think I'm losing my mind.

John Deere 567 push bar not working

Baled the first hay this year and my push bar is not working. I had to back up to drop a bale so I could close the gate. Any ideas to start looking for the problem? Thanks

    Greasing Tools ?

I'm not a big fan of dewalt tools but their cordless grease gun kicks a Lincoln's azz! We use both at my regular job greasing valves. Way more pressure with the dewalt. Like nesi, I just change out bad zerks.

    tractor size

I use a 95hp to bale 5x6 bales and wouldn't want anything smaller for the 5x6's. I do have a 56hp I load bales with as long as I got one on the back. For everything except the baling you can get by with a 60hp.

    Welding machines

They are great machines for tig welding aluminum. They have a real stable arc tig welding aluminum or stainless.

    Round baler suggestions?

New Holland 644 or BR7070, John Deere 466 or 467, Vermeer 604 or 505. I have no experience with Hesston because of no dealers here. I would just look for the baler I could buy with the least amount of bales run through it and best kept for the money. All of them work and all of them break. I run...

    F550 vs. Dodge 5500

We use quite a few Ram 5500's at work moving equipment. I will say a 3500 will out pull them and the only reason I can think is they are detuned or just weigh that much more. They do have heavy brakes and suspensions and seem to hold up well enough considering just about every mile is loaded...

2007 Dodge double cab 3500 flat bed

Easily will get 25 grand if in good condition. A plus side is it doesn't have all the emissions junk they put on the 6.7's that year.

    Truck Tool Box

I prefer one large door. IT makes it easier to access the middle to me.

    New stock trailer floor

Yes. They both have 7K torsion axles. I was surprised the Neckover was a little cheaper with the rubber boards.
