Been lurking for awhile. With prices the way they are, I'm thinking about some freezer beef instead of giving culls away at the sale barn, that's about what it amounts to. At what age is it mandatory for the whole cow to be turned into ground beef? :P Clem

Lakadino, I have been culling hard, and I do have animals that do well with little or no feed, I feed once a week to keep them coming to me. It works for me and in my situation feeding more would be pampering them. This could be an expensive hobby, but I need a return on my money.
