I bought it off an individual, 2008 model.

I bought that baler. It doesn't look like it has been used much. Couple things I noticed. The belts are twisted at the top instead of the front and it looks like hay has built up outside the belts on the right hand side if you are facing the front of the baler. Any suggestions on making adjustments?

I agree. I buy "cheap" fescue hay and supplement as needed. It has proved to be the most cost effective method for me over time.

Will they work with string tied bales or do they have to be net wrapped?

I have 1 of the 100 brangus cows in Kentucky. Bred to a Hereford bull, she weans one of the heaviest calves and I have never been docked. I agree with lucky those beefmaster/Angus cross heifers are some of the best I have seen.
