Like we have done on Coon hounds for years I would use the injectable but use it orally.Would you use the injectable, pour on or tablets??
Got a coon hunter friend that does the same thing. Very small dose if memory serves me right.Like we have done on Coon hounds for years I would use the injectable but use it orally. Very v
Like 0.1cc per #10. If they have good skin and it's not middle of summer I'll reach down and put a drop between their shoulder blades of pour on also.Got a coon hunter friend that does the same thing. Very small dose if memory serves me right.
Point taken.... but just to add -When my husband was fighting cancer, I broke out with a rash. Doctors thought it might be mites. They prescribed an Ivermectin cream that I had to rub all over my body. Rash was nerves, but point is, they had Iver. body lotion.
What would you recommend as the dosage based on BW?But, if I happened to get infected, you'd better believe I'll be taking a dose of Ivomec orally....
I do the dogs with same dosage as cattle - by weight. I think it is 1.1 ml per 100# - so 50# dog about .5. My Schnauzer is 16#, so about 1.6 ml.
160# person 17.6 ml
Yes .1 ml per 10#, so a 50# dog gets .5 ml. - Oh yeah, I sure overdosed my Schnauzer and PEOPLE by what I posted!!! LOL thanks.Look at your dosages.... 1.1 per 100# = .1 per 10#. I think you put your decimal in the wrong place @Jeanne - Simme Valley
