I noticed all these white spots on my cows today. They weren't there yesterday. Should I be worried?

Do not worry; I have seen them many times, usually they are gone by themselves, given time, in bad cases you can remove them by hand, without lasting impact. :2cents:

PS the same will apply to streaks

Speaking from experience you know. This phenomenon seems to common around here, I hear that some places they are never bothered by it.

The streaks are on the camera lense or film if you use film. Or they're hail stones falling

I did think it was hail when they first started appearing but on close inspection they were water marbles, not ice. I probably could have flicked them off the cows but not picked them up.
Had a cracker of a frost last night.
There's a lot of volcanoes in NZ, I'd say there's one erupting somewhere at any time. Not close to here though.

Funny thing, when I park my pickup under a tree, I get those same spots and streaks.
