Which kind of hay to buy?

We need to purchase some hay this weekend for cattle we recently purchased which will be delivered Monday - 2 bred four year old cows for us and 2 unbred heifers for my brother. We plan to put the cattle on wheat pasture this winter. They have been on good pasture grass all summer. Should we purchase Broam bales or Prairie Hay bales? The Broam is 80 cents more per square bale, but if it's really better for them, I don't mind. Also, once they are on the wheat pasture, how much should we supplement with the bales? if it was me id buy the parie grass hay.your going to have them running on wheat pasture.that will furinish the protine they need.remember to feed them himag minerals while they graze the wheat.they need hay free choice even grazing on wheat.

I'm always worried about bloat on wheat pastures so I don't continously graze it. When I do utilize wheat pastures I only let them in on it for a few hours a day.
