I went to a branding last Friday and on Saturday and then again on Tuesday. Guessing over 700 calves total. Another on on Friday. We are branding here on Saturday. Followed by another one on Sunday and them again on Monday. By talking to the other guys at brandings they have been to ones which I didn't know about. Everyone must be tired of feeding and getting ready to turn then out for the summer.
Three new calves this morning. The rest had better hurry up if they want to make it in time. Other wise they will just get kicked out on the hill behind the house. Then me and most everyone else will be doing a little clean up branding in May.
