We have two 9/10 month old calves that we bought a few months ago that look pretty horrendous skinny and boney but not looking depressed or anything. They were tested for bvd when they came in and aren't pi's I don't think and I wormed them a month or so ago and I thought I saw a slight improvement but they still aren't looking that great. Today I found one on the floor with its head and neck twisted under its body, I thought it was dead but no it was alive and it got up ok and after a few minutes of staggering was back to its old self and resumed eating with the rest. Does anyone have any ideas of what can be done to improve their condition ?
