That being said, Eric Holder, the attorney general, has said on several occasions that black on white is not a crime, while white on black is a crime.

It's a race issue only if you want it to be a race issue.

To most black folks, EVERYTHING is a race issue.

Maybe it's kind of a regional thing, but my kids have serveral hoodies. Every sports team they are on orders team apparel and 9 times out of 10 part of the apparel is a hooded sweatshirt. I am 43 years old and I have a couple myself. Also, around here 7:30 isn't really considered the middle of the night.

Also there appears to be some confusion on the voice identification. It's really not as simple as 30-40 years ago with somebody sitting in a room listening to a couple of recordings. It is all done with computers in ways most of us would not understand. That being said, from what the "experts" are claiming you would expect to find at least a 60% match in the voice characteristics with an individual between two recordings. They claim the 2 recordings of Zimmerman only had a 48% match, and in their practice that is 'almost' a sure thing that the voices are two seperate people. I think the '48% match' part is misunderstood as a 50/50 chance. This kind of reminds me of the OJ Simpson case when the lawyers convinced the jury that DNA evidence was "funny science" and couldn't be depended on. Whether it is or isn't I don't know, but I think it will be a major part of the case.

As for the accident comment, here is the transcript from the show. You can make your own interpetation of what she was trying to say:

Asked what she would say to Zimmerman if she got the chance, Sybrina Fulton said she wanted an apology. "I believe it was an accident," she said. "I believe that it just got out of control and (Zimmerman) couldn't turn the clock back."

"I would ask him, did he know that that was a minor, that that was a teenager, and that he did not have a weapon?" she continued. "I understand his family is hurting, but think about our family that lost our teenage son." She said she wanted to see him stand trial even if it meant he might be found not guilty. "We are happy he was arrested so that he can give his side of the story."

As upset as we get with the media for reporting 1/2 truths or editing quotes in order to make Zimmerman look guilty, I don't think it is right for us to be doing the same thing to make him look innocent either. Hopefully all the facts come out in the trial and the proper verdict will be given.

Let me be clear. Although I believe Zimmerman to be within his right to defend himself, I'm not trying to make him "seem" innocent. I am simply trying to get as many facts out there as I can since the media and the general public wasn't.
Now if after reading my posts, and the facts, and the reports, someone were to come to the conclusion he is innocent that is their deal.

There are places that if you see a black man wearing a hoodie at night in a diff. neighborhood than where he lives he probably is up to no good.....there are also places where you see a white guy wearinga hoodie at night in that neighborhood he is either lost of crazy as he!!.

Trayvon's mom is nuts. Zimmerman doesn't deny shooting him and it was no accident. He did it on purpose. He feared for his life.

i agree 100%
we have the same problems here also, it's all people from the born right here white trash to the illegals, all with their hands out.
it's the overall degradation of morals and ethics.
but if you take things into your own hands then you have to deal with the consequences like zimmerman is facing now.
will he get a fair trial ?

I don't know how you could find a jury who has not heard everything about this case in the news and it sounds like there has been a lot of distortion going on. I learned the other day the Casey Anthony - the Florida mother who killed her daughter - was paid $200,000 by ABC news so they would have the lead on the story. When did the press get so out of line that they deny justice to people for a story. Its a mess. It seems all they do is push their own political agendas and the bottom line on this one is gun control.

I think Zimmerman is going to be the pawn in this game. I think his life is ruined no matter what happens. I've read where he was a bit overzealous in his duties but I also heard he tutored black kids so that doesn't sound racist to me. Personally, I don't think any charges should have been filed because Zimmerman was injured and his injuries were consistant with his story and under the stand your ground rule he had every right to protect himself. I tend to believe this is the case since had the officers believed otherwise they would have booked him right then and there. What was it, a month later they book him only after this thing gets political. I smell a rat here. Looks to me like we now have a modern day lynch mob but rather than it consisting of men in white hoods it consists of racial agitators and politicians.

And again, the commone denominator of both these cases is the broken home.

You would think so, but probably not. Re-read the aunts remarks- "why they got all them counselors and aids if they just gonna call the popo n stuff." You know the reporter cut off, "its racial". My wife teaches or has taught in some of the low income. districts here and in Texas. There are to many welfare slug parents that don't teach their kids anything. Its always someone else's fault. The school is suppose to teach them manners, the school is suppose to teach them morals, school is suppose to feed them. That kid needs direction and to have her butt beat for that. I agree you don't need the police, you need to bring back spanking. If the teacher has to be the parent let them parent. But instead, moma tells princess "they messed up baby ". They owe you.

My wife ends up paying for at least one kids lunch every hear because the degenerate mom is to lazy to fill out forms for a free lunch! They don't care that the kid doesn't eat. DHS won't do anything about it either. Those kids are lost. She does her best to teach them responsibility for themselves, but when your fighting the influences of home it ain't easy. And the home is where it all should come from, but its not. Too many are just popping out babies because there is no reason not to. One kid couldnt spell their name half way through elementary because of no interaction, and there was 6 more following that one. People getting food stamps assistance have cable? I don't have it, because it is not necessary and I'm more productive without it. People need to learn responsibility for their actions and decisions. You mess up, be ready to pay the price. It isn't someone else's fault all the time. A little pain early on can save a lot later on. This trayvon deal probably was preventable, but it may turn out that it was preventable 12-13 years ago with a few consequences.

Space Cowboy this is history repeating itself. When the I want's that wont work can elect more than I will's that work the downfall of the democracy is a short time away.
I truely believed the media has played this up for ratings and the anti-gun crowd, as the socialist need to disarm us.
This is a win win for the media if Zimm loose's one faction is worked up if he win's another is.
The scary part with the division in the country this could turn real nasty real quick. This is what I think the current regime is hoping for.
