in another thread. Went through a few of my cows on the feed ground this morning and took some video of them. I thought I'd share what my big old crayon box cows look like.

That's a lot of cows- nice cows! No box of crayons - RED - dark red, cherry red, medium red, light red, yellowish red - LOL

Thanks, try to weed out the hard doers and keep them in good shape through the winter. And they may be spoiled a bit too.

That's one he!! of a nice set of red cows! Big, deep bodied. Looks like all the baldies had pigment around their eyes. QUIET.

I added a couple more bulls at a sale on Friday. I'm done collecting bulls for next year now. Hopefully they work well with the females I'm running and make good cows.
I'm pretty happy about this first one out of Millington Brisk 7005:

I'd call the size of those cows medium-large, didn't really see any giants.. they're looking good though

Thank you. Yes, a good portion of the lighter colour in the cows comes from their Blonde heritage.
I don't know how much Fleck is in the bulls, I don't think the CSA treats Flecks like the ASA. I'm not really much on papers or epd's lol

You're welcome...the pics of your cattle is a testament of a savvy cattleman.
Me neither...life is good when your seed stock sires come from outfits who know a thing or two about real world cattle.
