Milk poo is present, bag is still big. I think she must have just had it yesterday evening. She don't want me to get too close yet, so I'm giving them space.Very nice! That lil fart should grow really well!
Did she look nursed down a bit or still all big? I usually check the cows teats to see if they are clean/slick. And the calfs butt for milk poo!

Yes, there are other cows feeding. Not sure what to do about it, but both calves like to lay there.Not a great place to lay her baby down if there are other cows feeding at the hay feeder . Lost one 2 years ago that got stepped on . Not a lot you can do about it .
I would say as long as the cows aren't fighting for access to the bale, they try to be careful where they step-most of the time. I had a calf get its head stuck in the lower rings of a feeder-freak accident and got her out. Accidents and luck both happen…Staying warm
