I have a farm that has a long gravel drive a good ways in. The neighboring farmer kept claiming that the drive was on part of his land. He made the comment that years ago, people would build driveways on other's land to get to their property. We told him that was the stupidest thing we had heard of. It was getting to be a problem as he wanted to use the drive to get to his property, and it was tearing up the ground. He had a way to enter his property from the back. He did not allow anyone to drive on his land to access other properties either.
Turn about is fair play.
He wasn't going to let my farmers use part of his dirt road to access a field.
This idiot had a surveyor come out to prove that the driveway was his land. :lol2:
It was a sad day when he found out that his land was no where the drive as it runs up the side of my property.
