three day sickness(emphereal fever)

just would like to know if three day is in the US,if so has anybody had a heifer due to calve at the same time as having three day? :?

i don't believe i have heard of that fever unless it is called something else.

If we do have it in the US it must be called something else. Perhaps it is confined to Australia only? A quick google search turned up EPHERMERAL fever (spelled a little differently that the first poster) but looks like most of the articles on the first page or two of google results are from Aussie sources.
