Just lost our Polaris Ranger sometime overnight- it was parked not more than 50 feet from the front door. They cut three fences to get to it, just must have rolled it away to load up somewhere.
We had it customed with GPS equip for our business. Anybody else having trouble with thieving in your area? If I could figger out how to insert a picture here, I would, You never know where it might turn up...

That is a terrible feeling. Makes my blood boil a bit. Been there and didn't like it. The last ones that hit me pawned a third of my stuff the same day. Got 'em. That was in August and they have not been arrested for it YET. Those kind of folks need to be completely out of our society. Put them away.

We Got a Pick up/Trailer with a Cat 246 Skid on the Trailer Stole This Fall. They Drove it to nortern IL. And left the Truck We Got the Pick up and trailer Back But they Took are Skid Steer!

There's not much worse than a slug belly thief. They operate like roaches, and come out when nobody's looking. The problem is when they get caught the system lets them off too easy.
As economic conditions worsen, we'll probably see an increase in this kind of stuff. At least, we can still protect our property.Hope yall' get your stuff recovered.

When I was a kid in Highschool, I had a friend that was loosing gas, he stayed out on the porch ,,, and sure enough about 2 in the morning , this guy walks up to his truck with a hose , and starts sucking out gas, Randy has a 30.06, he fires one over the guys head. The guy looks up , looks all around , and then continues to suck the gas out.
So Randy shoots the guys knee cap off!!
The cops show up , and start hasseling Randy , telling him that he could of killed the guy.
Randy replies "I hit exactly where I was aiming"

SK you might want to post the model# on here just never know someone might want to sell it.

And in June i'll be up in your neck of the woods for a family reunion at Suttons Bluff Campground, Centerville MO.
Maby I better sleep with my 4wheeler as I will be taking it to do some trail riding.

I sure hope you get it back in good shape.

yep we have a problem with theives here.my wife raises exotic chikens and ducks.we noticed a duck a night was missing.no feathers to indicate a varmit.after walking the pasture we noticed a line of ciggaret butts from the chicken yard to the neighbors fence.we dont smoke.at the neighbors fence we found that he has his ladder between the fence and his shed.we also saw a small wire cage beside the shed that has fresh manure in it.im almost certain thats where our ducks are going.im not calling the sherriff about this.when i catch him in the pasture ill have to call the funeral director to send a herse cause he will have a 9mm hollow point through his scull.

We have been hit once about 3 years ago.....f#$^#&g meth heads!

Took my 9mm as well as bunch of other things and tore up the house. What hurt the most is he put out a cig on our carpet, what a violation.

Got another gun and a meaner dog.

One thing the thieves have did around here is they drive up to your house and knock on door if you are home they ask directions to some made up person that is suppose to live in this area. If you are not home, the break in and start the stealing.

If anyone comes up to our house that we do not know, I right down their license plate number in case I hear of a crime wave in the rural or we get broke into in the future.

I have this phobia that I am going to get woke up to a thief standing over me while in bed, I sleep days and can not hear the phone or a knock at the door were my bedroom is. I am sure they will knock and think no one is home.

That is exactly what happend to us, the meth heads would drive up to a place and say they are looking for their dog, no one home it's open season. At least they caught the guy who hit us. And like you someone drives up I don't know, I take notes on him and his car right in front of him or her.

We always had Jack Russel terriers outside as an early warning system for two and four legged intruders. My wife had an attack dog at the house, and several dogs accompanied me on the farm. As more farms were attacked during the war, dogs proved their value in warning families of intruders, giving valuable reaction time.

A+ ---- ever considered not answering the door when a strange bunch drives up and knocks? But being ready to give them a "proper welcome" in the event they try to break in a few minutes later when they think nobody's home?

I have gave that some thought, we have not really had to many drive ups here though. I would find it hard to not shoot as they entered the door, and with my luck our Liberal Prosecutor would have me in shackles.

But most of time I am a sleep, being a day time sleeper, so I am sure one day I will be running down driveway in my underwear with my 44 Mag a firing after being woke up by someone carrying my VCR out of bedroom.

Finally had time to get you all a picture of the missing vehicle..just by some slim chance it showes up in your area for sale. Doubt it would look the same, tho. But you never know, we might get lucky. That's a Trimble GPS antenna on the back rollbar. You just never know when some scum is scoping you out, do you?

I keep a .38 between the mattress and the box spring cowboy chambered with a empty under the hammer. I have escorted the old S&W a time or two to the door in the dark to one of our dogs barking at something "different".

Can't the GPS system work the other way....to locate your Ranger? Sorry, probably a dumb question, but was curious....

Sorry about your loss.

Just last week, the local law enforcement came real close to catching a supposedly large theft operation....only by accident.

The theives are shooting out security lights and cameras, at implement dealerships... loading up, usually the ATV's and such and hauling them out....stolen items have been located as far away as Washington and California. Anyway, long story getting longer, cops tried pulling a vehicle over towing a trailer, light out on trailer, they took off, cops chased them, when they abandoned the vehicle they took off on foot, more cops came, and dogs were brought in, mother nature took over and we received a short snow-storm, the big heavy wet flakes. Didn't take long for dogs and everyone else to lose the trail. Nobody was caught
