Well I'm reporting back on my original "scours" post...Someone recommended I use a terramycin bolus to treat scours. I had asked if I could use the powder that is "supposed" to be added to drinking water. But I was recommended against it because it might make the bottle taste unpleasant.
Well, I experimented and put a teaspoon of terramycin in the bottle along with 2 tablets of (human) selenium melted in water to boost the immune system. AND GREAT NEWS...the calf gobbled up the bottle, poopies are lookin great...the scours are gone..thanks all for your wisdom.

Good show. Is that the only treatment you gave the calf?

Yes, thats all I did. Before the calf would only lay around, was eatin just so so and walkin a little wobbly. But now he is runnin all over the place buckin up his heels and playin with the dog. :D
