"Tax Day" Newborn

This calf was born this morning (I think I'll call it "Tax Day") on a distant hillside. The picture was taken from inside the ranch house by holding a digital camera (at 6X zoom) to the eyepiece of a 60X spotting scope (360X compounded magnification.) I'm leaving the momma and calf alone for awhile, so I don't know yet if the calf is a bull or heifer.
