Does anyone feed soybean hulls as a suplement to feeding hay during the winter? I've seen some articles in the past but i cant seem to find them now. If remember correctly those articles said that soybean hulls where very high in protien but also fairly inexspensive, is that still true in todays market? Thanks alot, Ben.

Soy hulls aren't that high in protein...around 12%. They are high in fiber, medium in energy. Price is kind of high over the winter, but they should lower come spring. ADM at Des Moines is $115/ton, but that is probably the cheapest in the midwest.

Thanks everyone this is some great info, im goin to try and stop by my local MFA sometime this week and see if the sell them, and if they dont hopefully they will know someone who does :) Thanks alot, ben.
