no but we used to cut sorghum an millet hay for people that didnt have a mow/co.an i know what kind of hay it makes put up right.that stuff can grow 7 to 10ft tall.

When you let it get that tall you don't ahve much quality to the hay. Even the best sudan hay seldom test really well. But so many folks prefer volume over quality.

yeah they wanted bales to the ac.we always liked cutting it at 3 to 4ft tall.

we cut it at 4ft also, and we had to plant it or not have any so kinda no choice
