Single animal cattle scales

I've been looking into the Tru-test Small producer cattle scales. Looks like the price is around $1,400.00

Any recommendations on this brand or other single animal cattle scales? I'm mostly looking at the under squeeze chute models. Thanks.

USING THEM FOR 8 YEARS, NO TROUBLE BOUGHT THE 5000LB MODEL COST A LITTLE MORE BUT IS STRONGER

Been looking for some myself. Found a place in Cal. that sells the four cells and readout for a lot less, can get a 12 volt adapter to plug into cig. lighter on you truck.Try Chris Thompson at Tara Systems 1-800-448-5681. Just bolt the feet to the bottom of your squeeze chute and plug into 110 volt outlet, or get the 12 volt adapter and use truck or tractor battery to operate. The pads or feet are 3" dia. and are prewired with 20' of wire.I found this information on the internet . Just have to have a hard flat surface for the feet to sit on.
