So my dad and my daughter and son run about ten cows with my cow herd. My parents cover all the expenses for those cows and the calf checks go in the bank to help with college some day.

Well, the owners are having a sleep over at the bankers house tonight so the manager can go do chores in sub zero wind chill. So I'd say it's a toss up!

Good family. That's the way it's supposed to work.

My dad gave early teenage me and brother 12 gilts. Corn came from dad's grain bin, we paid for everything else, plus a lot of sweat equity on the whole farm. Best thing was we did it all together.
