Opinions on the EPD's of 2 calves for use on commercial cows. 9-10 months old weighing 800-850 on grass and a small amount of feed.

G46 has a 75# BW
G36 was 90#

G46 has a nice balanced set of EPD's, G36 looks to be a terminal type sire with some growth.

Are the Doc scores so bad/low because these two particular bulls don't have a lot of progeny as of yet?

Is the 7.0 on doc that bad? I know the -0.3 isn't good. What is breed average?

EPD & rankings info on Purebred bulls (your 46) Not sure how the Assn categorizes the 36 bull as his dam linage stems from a "bred up" commercial Simmental but he's listed as 75% Simmental so maybe considered PB as well?

Breed Average PB docility EPD is 10.5.

The 36 bull is jumpy but has better frame and is bigger. I can walk all around him within 15' so I'm ok with that. I think I have him sold already.
