spend a lot of time with him. brushing him, tying him up, leading him to and from water, washing him, anything you can think of to do with him... do it. takes a lot of time and patience.

sometimes if i have a steer that is scared of people we move him up to a pen closer to the house or barn or anywhere where people walk around more that way if you are just working outside they will get used to people and not be so frightened
