Thats the same one I use. Got 4 or 5 of them scattered in the trucks, kitchen and hunting bag. 5-10 swipes and you are good to go.

I have one just like that, I am going to hunt it down when I get home. Something makes me think it a WW II Marine knife??

Mine is made by craftsman but I think its design is based off of a ww2 marine knife

My hunting knife is a buck that I have had for over thirty years.
I also have a buck boot knife that I carry in my boot.
I use an oil stone on them and when I got them it took me forever to get an edge on them.
But once sharp they will hold it.

I still use a rock . But I clean all of my animals with a havalon knife with replaceable blades . Or a utility knife . A hooked blade for the utility knife works real good for a gut hook .
