Last week I had a bull fail a semen test. This is the first time I've had this happen. He passed the motility part but failed on the morphology part. Vet said we will re-test in a month. Is there anything I can do for the bull in the mean time that will increase his chances of passing next time around?

I should add that this is a yearling registered angus bull that has been sold already.

He'll probably be fine next time around. Not uncommon at all. Other than regular good feed I wouldn't do anything different.

Not uncommon on first round. I bought a couple bulls last year that had a full BSE done and a sheet filled out. They had blood test, teeth, feet, weights, and several other things done to them. All my vet does is check the semen. They say some bulls fail because they don't———- enough.

My vet calls that a "rusty load" I'll admit the first time I heard that my immaturity got the best of me. After the vet "milked" him a couple times he was fine
