bse test

had bse test on 16 mo. old angus bull done ...vet failed him at score of 83,said tails on sperm were all curled up.my question is will he get better in couple months ,can retest him in a month ......or is he a bad risk even if he passes test?

He's a risk & it will only get worse. Had a bull that was fine until he was probably 5 & the curled tails showed up on his BSE. Still passed that year but the next year was considerably worse & didn't pass his BSE.

The bse is used to find problems and in this case it found a problem. I would rather take a small loss now on this bull and replace him vs taking the chance and having a large loss later on.
