I called this morning and its 5 cent here. She said that the new stock metal that's coming in is lower 1/8" 1 1/2x 1 1/2 is .89 cent a ft right now for 20' joint

I heard a month or so ago that the bottom had fallen out of the scrap market.

I took a few pounds of brass in last week, got $1.30 lb, down from $1.75 a few months ago. I asked about scrap and he advised me to hang on to it, it's only going for 3 cents now but I could get 2 cents for cardboard.

It has here I got a ton of it I want to get rid of and they told me its $4.50 per 100lbs here

GP told me that last night. I haven't checked lately and figured it was still up due to the amount of scrape I'm seeing hauled. Like GP said meth heads still got to eat.....smoke...... or what ever they do. I do plan on buying some new stuff while its a little cheaper

It figures. I have a load of mobile home frame sitting on the trailer. I was going to take it in because I need to use the trailer next week. I guess I will just unload it and wait for the price to trend back up.
