I have a calf that has got several quarter size spots on her neck, ears and several lined up in a row on the hip area. Could this be ring worms or warts.

sounds like ring worm warts would be sticking out a little bit and look like a growth

Ring worm. Quarantine the calf immediately. Watch any other animals that were in with the calf for signs of ringworm. Your best bet is to scrape the scab and apply veterinary strength iodine to the scraped area. Get the solution from your vet or vet supply store. WalMart/drug store iodine is not strong enough.
