What is that red wood box? Is that a clipper seed cleaner?

Electric? The made those things in electric? I thought they were all amstrong!

Ollie...right on, a Chatham Mill. The dehorners are for looking at, that monster was bought at a farm auction, weighs about twenty pounds and could cut bolts...the Barnes is a working dehorner as are the hoof trimmers. Collect the "misery whips" any time I can get one...work great for cutting railroad ties.
Dun...did you get whacked when you slowed down and the little BB in the handle started to rattle?
Memories are good things...makes us realize what is important in our lives....DMc

If I wasn't so overcome with curiousity I never would ask, but......

I have a clipper cleaner similar to that one which still use to clean our own grain for seed.

Ditto Shorty, I got Grandpa's a few years back. Used it as a kid too.

Milkmaid...a seed/grain cleaner...winnowing machine. The screen tables shake and air is blown through them as the seeds move over the screens out the chutes....you know the milk seperator. The older models had a ball bearing in the handle when you wern't turning it fast enough it would rattle from end to end so your parents could know when to encourage you to speed up. DMc
