Red Angus 1A or 1B

What is the difference in registered Red Angus 1A and 1B. In the classified adds some registered Red Angus are listed as 1A and some are listed 1B and some adds have both. I know very little about Red Angus but want to know more.

1A Red Angus are pure Angus and there has never been a disqualifying trait in there lineage. 1B is bred up from other breeds but must be a significat % of Red Angus. Can't remeber off hand what the percentage is.
