Was second bidder on one. It only had a couple welds...Around here there are lots of Sitrex / New Holland wheeled v-rakes.
Another option is two ganged hydraulically driven roll a bar rakes. Great for balage.

I must not be understanding exactly what you mean here. Maybe the term "merging windrows" is throwing me off.There are things a Rollabar rake will do that a V-rake will not, mainly turning hay over or moving hay/merging windrows.
Our Kuhn v rakes are capable of using just half of the v and that allows us to roll, merge at move hay around although we don't use that function very often.
