I remember my grandma making this recipe when I was a kid, and a friend re-introduced it to me several years ago. It only takes a few minutes to prepare. You may want to double it for a crowd.

Raisin Sauce for Ham

Mix first three dry ingredients in saucepan:
¼ cup packed brown sugar
½ Tbs. cornstarch
1/8 tsp. salt
Add to dry ingredients:
1 Cup Apple cider
¼ C raisins
8 whole cloves
1-2" stick cinnamon

Cook and stir 10 minutes, then remove spices
Stir in 1 ½ Tbs. Butter
Serve
