I agree, he will not be convicted. I am on record saying I think there will only be 5-10 Republicans vote to convict. By the way, it was a bi-partisan vote, not just the democrats.
That is a real badge of honor for him, to hold 1/2 of all the Presidential impeachments in US history.
If an honest assessment of the Trump years is ever made I believe he'll be viewed very differently. One title he certainly holds is "Most Unfairly Persecuted ".

Trump (even though he won't be convicted) will forever be an embarrassment and will go down in the history books as one of the worst Presidents in US history. He is already being shunned and people are leaving the Republican Party in droves.
