Preg check /How to

I've AI a few cows but never preg checked a cow before. I know everything takes practice, but how do go about preg checking a cow. I was always told not to pinch the horns because it will prevent a cow to bred again. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.

Can,t learn over the internet. Take a course. I am surprised you didn,t take as part of an AI course.

was lucky we were able to get enough people together to get someone from ABS to give the class.I was top of the group for getting the gun in. But I guess I was'nt thinking of preg-checking at the time. Coarse that was 12 yrs. ago. Beeen using bull off-on .

the more cows you can get in, the better. palpate open cows and some you know are bred to get the feel of things
