Online Acreage calculators

Could somebody point me in the right direction to an online site where you can figure acreage using satelite pictures? I know I've seen it talked about on here before, but I can't find it.

Does your county's property appraiser have a web site? Mine has a plat mat on theirs.

in our state VA. the state forestry department has pretty good sattelite imagery and tools availalbe on line.

the federal government has a tool thru NRCS called the web soil survey that is pretty good too but they do not have all of the united states mapped. give it a try to see if you are covered.
bonus is you can get all your soils information there too.
