Odd behavior with bred cow

Hey all, I fed cattle this evening and in one group had a 7yr old bred cow acting odd. She was standing and eating and started kicking slowly towards her utter one back hoof at a time as if she had flies. Well it was 24 degrees today so no flies!! Also when standing still saw her hip/upper leg muscle quiver some. She'd be due in April. She's on pasture grass (mainly Bermuda), 20% cake 3x week and some bluestem/native hay at times. UTD on all vaccines and was wormed in November. Thanks!

Hey Kenny thanks. After talking to my wife this evening she said she saw the cow doing the same thing about a month ago. Any difference there ya think? I was also thinking maybe Mastitis? Thanks.

I doubt it would be mastitis as you said she is not due until April.
