occasionally feeding sweet feed am I making a mistake?

I do the sweet feed as well in small amounts atleast every other day i tell ya when youre 2 hrs from home and your cattle are in a road and someone grabs the same bucket you feed them sweet feed in and they all come back in the pasture that feeding of sweet feed paid off in my opinion... personal experience

mine are bucket trained. im a one man show..rarely anyone cept me and the wife. granted i only got 20 hd but its enough to keep me busy..next yr ill have 20 cows plus steers and bull. replacement sna dmy for profit backgorunding operation over the winter ill be busy\
i can have all my cows come in with a bukcet in a few weeks. the guy i background for loves it...he dont keep doin it tho..hes a big timer..im not
i thorw out 50 lbs of citrus pellets for 15 cows and a bull. 25 lbs for the 7 replacements..everyday
