No tillinig clover into a blue grass sod

I just no tilled 4# of red cover and 2# of white clover per acre into some dense bluegrass sod on Monday. It rained 0.4" today! I now plan to turn the cattle in to really graze down the exisiting blue grass. Any timing or treatment suggestions on how to make no till clover highly successful?
