Got red, white, and yellow clover everywhere. All from the seedbank. The entire farm is covered in it right now.

Seems a good bit of my cool season grass died off last fall due to being so dry. Hoping some of it will come back. Would appear its mostly red clover that has replaced it.

I did graze a lot of clover last year in the old hayfields. But this year its on the whole farm. I assume it's from the grazing management, but hopefully everyone is seeing it this spring.

Year before last was a "clover year" here, a year when clover, both red and white, appear from the seedbank in abundance.
My hay was full of red clover seed this winter and it sprouted everywhere about the last of February. A couple of cold snaps appear to have done a number on it.
Lots of clover in the open grass stands, like you said last fall was so dry it was hard on pastures. Here is hoping for a better grazing year this time.
My cattle are starved for grass, no real lush grazing since last summer's crab grass bloom.

I sure hope 2024 is good for us all!

I have noticed a lot of clover in all pastures this year, last year I didn't have hardly any.

Hate to be negative, but 2012 started with a massive amount of clover everywhere here. Road ditches, pastures, thick and tall.

I hope this isn't a similar year.

Mineral tubs prevent bloat. Just another insurance they provide. I have been told they are a waste of money more times than I care to admit, but when I changed to choice loose mineral we had abundant deficiency issues. Our local co-op mix sux.

I use them at certain times. Couldn't afford to do it year round though.

It's almost too much. I don't have enough cattle to keep up with it. Probably going to slow the warm season grass in some places.

Took these about a week ago. Gonna start grazing tomorrow most likely. Gonna graze lightly then get a late first cutting in hopes weather cooperates better.

Property line fence picture is pretty interesting.
